Patna, Sept. 3: The Congress wants to revive the party unit in Bihar and boost the sagging morale of its party workers, Lok Sabha member Sanjay Nirupam said today.
Nirupam, the co-incharge of party affairs for Bihar, will be in Patna for a day tomorrow.
“My priority would be to revive the party and the morale of our workers. Bihar has been traditionally a Congress-ruled state and we have to bring back the party’s lost glory,” Nirupam, 46, said over phone from Delhi. Nirupam said he would be meeting the people to make them aware of the central schemes for the states.
The Congress leader, now the MP from Mumbai North, was born in Rohtas and completed his higher studies from Patna.
