Rice on Israel tour
Jeddah, Nov. 13 (Reuters): US secretary of state Condoleezza Rice begins a trip to Israel and the West Bank today, hoping to revive the Arab-Israeli peace process and convince both sides to return to a US-sponsored peace plan.
Before leaving Saudi Arabia, Rice, who was set to arrive in Jerusalem later today, said resolving the Israeli-Palestinian conflict was a top priority and the US-backed road map was a reliable guide to a two-state solution.
