College Park (Maryland), March 21 (AP): President Barack Obama cheered for his niece at a women's college basketball championship tournament game between Princeton University and the University of Wisconsin, Green Bay.
His niece, Leslie Robinson, plays forward for the undefeated Princeton team. Leslie is the daughter of Michelle Obama's brother, Craig Robinson.
Princeton defeated Green Bay 80 to 70 in the first-round NCAA tournament game played today in College Park, Maryland. Leslie Robinson, a freshman, did not appear in the game for Princeton.
Obama was accompanied by his daughter Malia, mother-in-law, Marian Robinson, Craig Robinson and other Robinson family members.
Most in Obama's group wore orange 'Tiger Pride'T-shirts to support the Princeton team. Obama wore a dark sweater. The First Lady is traveling in Cambodia.
