London, Dec. 20: Kate Winslet’s ex-husband Jim Threapleton has said that years after their divorce, the couple are now “good friends”.

Threapleton, 34, who now lives in northern London with his new wife, special needs teacher Julie Vuorinen, has said the couple are at a good stage in their relationship, and he gets on well with her current husband, director Sam Mendes.

He flies to New York once a month to spend time with Mia, his daughter from his marriage to Winslet, 33, and said of Mendes: “He is a fantastic person to be in Mia’s life.”

London: American socialite Paris Hilton was burgled at one of her homes, Los Angeles police said, while local media reported that the burglar swiped $2 million worth of jewellery and other valuables, reports The Daily Telegraph. Hilton was not at home at the time of the burglary.
