A culinary affair
One of the most evocative of Indian food writers, Chitrita Banerji blends an exact understanding of techniques with an abiding curiosity about the many human stories behind the art of food. Weaving together myths and folklore associated with food, the people and their culture, the author narrates captivating accounts of life in the subcontinent. This evening, Penguin Books India and Crossword present the launch of the book. To be followed by a panel discussion on Balance between Change and Authenticity in Cuisine. Panelists: Nondon Bagchi, Rakhi Purnima Dasgupta and Shaun Kenworthy. Moderator: Anjum Katyal.
