Style and substance for moms and kids

The Telegraph Online Published 07.08.10, 12:00 AM
Style and substance for moms and kids
There is perhaps no relationship as pure as that between a mother and child. Hansel & Gretel, the very first mother-and-child exhibition in the city, is being hosted by Padmini Garg and Uddeta Jain to celebrate this special bond. It has been essentially designed to generate a common platform for all baby boutiques and stores so that they may showcase their range of innovative and specialty products to the specific, targeted customer base. Among kidswear, Kidology provides a flavour of designer wear for kids. They bring to the city collections from Gaurav Gupta, Malini Ramani, Ritu Kumar, Gauri & Nainika and Namrata Joshipura. Pallavi Bagaria, Swasti Parekh, Navika, Connect 2 and others would provide stylish apparel for moms on the move. While Gayatri Chopra, First Impressions by Bhavna Jasra, Creative by Anita Kanoria and Reasons, amongst others, would showcase accessories, home decor items would be displayed by brands like Aura, Think Cutieful, Pottery by Manjari and Philips. Besides, there will be stalls and studios for designer maternity wear, linen, educational accessories, wellness, delicacies, as well as a tarot card-reading corner.

lEvent: An exhibition of mother, baby and child care products, apparel and accessories lWhen: Today; 11 am - 9 pm lWhere: Hyatt Regency Banquets
