Security has been stepped up at Mother House following reports that the Islamic State has been planning an attack on the Missionaries of Charity headquarters. A quick response team vehicle of Calcutta police made several rounds near the building during the day. The National Investigation Agency has mentioned about the purported plan in a chargesheet against suspected Islamic State operative Mohammad Masiruddin, alias Musa, who was arrested in Burdwan on July 5.
