The meeting failed to arrive at a consensus on the mode of admission to six undergraduate arts courses. The group of teachers expressed their displeasure over the admissions committee's earlier proposal to engage external experts to set one among two sets of questions for the admission tests. This will lead to dilution of academic standards, they said.
