Bengal on Saturday reported 314 new Covid-19 infections, 196 recoveries and one death.

The state currently has 2,952 active cases, including 104 in hospitals. Covid recovery rate was 98.84 per cent and the mortality rate 1.02 per cent on Saturday.

On a day when 7,367 samples were tested, case positivity rate stood at 4.26 per cent.

On Saturday, 63,372 precaution (booster) doses administered across the state.
