Director MN Raj is all set to start the shoot of his new film Bhalobashar Morshum, a love story that brings together actors from India and Bangladesh. The film features an ensemble cast led by Sharman Joshi, Susmita Chatterjee, Tanjin Tisha and Khairul Basar. Produced by Meher Entertainment Ventures in association with Himani Films and co-produced by Mufasa Creations, the upcoming romantic drama tells a story of love and longing. The relationship-based story highlights how the clash between the past and the present affects lives.

“I am a huge fan of Satyajit Ray. I have been watching Bengali cinema for many years. In fact, I was a part of the film Gang of Ghosts, which was a remake of the Bengali film Bhooter Bhobishyot. With regional cinema making its mark, it is an exciting time for all of us,” said Sharman Joshi.

“The story has touched my heart, and of course, I was attracted to my lovely character named Paramita. Also, the opportunity to work with Sharman Joshi has my heart. I am really thankful to MN Raj. We have been in talks for a long time, and finally we are going to work together. I am excited,” said Susmita Chatterjee.

“Certain elements of the script seemed promising, and when the opportunity arrived, I felt it was the right one to debut into a greater world of audiences. Also, having the opportunity to share the screen with big names such as Sharman Joshi and others seems like a blessing,” said Khairul Basar. “I want to break the barrier of language, which is why we got this ensemble star cast. They perfectly fit the characters,” said MN Raj.
