The garden authorities are now busy developing a mobile-based app that will guide visitors to the different plants and trees in the garden. It will have a search option for finding a particular plant or tree, show the shortest route to reach it in the garden, display the common as well as scientific name and include details such as flowering time, picture and other facts through hyperlinks.
“We are in the process of compiling all the details and the app will be operational by next year,” promised B.K. Singh, a senior scientist in the garden.
