Calcutta: Tafazzal Manzar and Adnan Hossain recorded hat-tricks as Albany Hall Public School and Future Hope School registered big wins in the Debanjan Cup on Tuesday.

The tournament is being organised by the Debanjan Sen Foundation.

Albany Hall and Future Hope won by an identical margin of 5-0 against Mother International and Welland Gouldsmith, respectively.

For Albany Hall, Aman Nawaz and Wasim Akhter were the other scorers, while Sk Badal and Amitesh Routh also found the target for Future Hope.

Tafazzal and Adnan were the obvious choices for the Player of the Match award.

DPS Megacity too won 5-0 against Future Foundation School, with Tausif Khan netting two, and Vanlal Muana, Rishi Dadey and Kunal Kumar also scoring.

St Thomas' School (Kidderpore) too hammered in five against Don Bosco, Park Circus, with Humzah Seraj scoring a brace, and Isaac Chhantea, Atahar Kamram and Mohammed Moyen also on target.
