New Delhi: National champion Surya Sekhar Ganguly is the top seed at the Parsvnath Commonwealth Chess Championships, beginning December 3.

Surya, with an Elo rating of 2585, is followed by GM Gawain Jones of England (2567) and GM Parimarjan Negi (2514).

Among the women, WGM Tania Sachdev (2413) is the top seed, followed by IM D. Harika (2480) and WGM Nisha Mohota (2416). (PTI)
