The Iranian Ebrahim, who has been wheelchair-bound for the last 23 years after suffering an accident during his days in the Iranian army, made it to the finals of the men’s recurve, which boasted of a strong field with heavyweights like Jayanta Talukdar, Rahul Banerjee, Mangal Champia and Tarundeep Rai.

After losing Saturday’s final to Bangladesh’s Mohammed Sajjad Hossain 101-105, he said: “It wasn’t a good performance for me today. But I will surely aim for the gold next time.”
