
Calcutta: Saurabh Singh and Kanishk Seth, who were in Bengal's Cooch Behar Trophy-winning side, have made into the India under-19 squad for the two four-day matches against their England counterparts.

The matches will be held at the VCA Stadium in Nagpur from February 13-16 and 21-24. Saurabh and Kanishk will be playing under a side led by Delhi's Jonty Sidhu.
For both the players, fitness is the area they believe they need to work on further in order to deliver make a mark and brighten their prospects for the big stage.
"Obviously, our performances in the Cooch Behar Trophy gives us a lot of confidence and will act as a morale-booster. But first and foremost will be the fitness issue. I need to ensure fitness doesn't go on to be a concern by the time the matches begin," said Saurabh from Varanasi on Wednesday.
Kanishk, on his part, said: "I had to work very hard at the NCA for a major part of 2016 to recover from the (back) injury. So, I must see to it that there are no complaints raised about my fitness, which is of utmost importance for me."
