Calcutta: The Classic filly Sanskara was cleared by the RCTC starter to contest Sunday’s Derby. The unruly behaviour of the filly had prompted the sta-rter to withdraw her from the Oaks’ line-up, and also revoke her ‘gate’ certificate. On Monday, the Bharath Singh-trainee behaved in an orderly manner at the gate practice. The following horses were seen going at easy paces, on Tuesday, in preparation for the Derby day races:Outer sand track

1,400m: Alarico (Rb) in 1-50s; (first 800m) 1-0s. Easy. Aerona (C.Alford), Elusive Glow (Shanker) and Kinship (Mark) in 1-55s; (400m) 28s. Six lengths and 6 ls separated them.

1,000m: Astra Fields (Salim) and Pay Check (Aman) in 1-17s; (400m) 29s. They were level. Aliventi (C.Alford) from 1,400m to 400m in 1-18s; (first 800m) 57s. Fit.

800m: Rasalas (Yadav) in 1-2s; (400m) 30s.Very easy. Supreme Princess (Aman) and Star Memories (Salim) in 1-3s; (400m) 29s. Both went at half-pace. Russian Valour (Aman) and Regal Empress (Salim) in 1-3s; (400m) 30s. They were level

600m: Bold Display (Rb) in 45s; (400m) 29s. Easy.

400m: Amazing Blaze (Yadav) and Hunter’s Paradise (Melvyn) in 30s. They were level. Accendere (Yadav) and Solar Falcon (Melvyn) in 30s. They were level. Satluj (G.Singh) in 32s. Aptitude (Rb) in 31s. Easy. Wizard King (Yadav) and Wild Flower (Melvyn) in 31s. They were level. Talent Unlimited (Melvyn) and Retained Asset (Yadav) in 30s. They were level and were easy.
