Calcutta, Jan. 13 :    Calcutta, Jan. 13:  Mohammed Ali Qamar of Railways emerged champion in the lightflyweight category in the 47th national boxing championship in Pimpri, near Pune, yesterday. According to information received here today, Ali, a former Bengal pugilist who represented India in the world meet in Las Vegas in 1999, beat Rosema Colney of Services in the final. Ali, who lost to Suresh Singh in the final of this category in the last edition of the meet, was also adjudged Boxer of the Meet. Suresh was competing in the flyweight division.
