Imphal: Defending champions Manipur won the 13th senior women?s national football championship defeating Bengal 3-0 at Khuman Lampak main stadium on Monday.

Th Tababi scored a hattrick to earn victory for Manipur.

The hosts took the lead in the 10th minute of the match after Tababi slotted home, taking a pass from India captain O Bembem.

In the second half Manipur increased the lead via Tababi in the 47th minute. She struck once again in the 62nd minute to seal the margin.

Manipur lifted the title 11 times and were runners-up twice. Bengal, who played in the final 12 times, were champions twice and nine times runners-up.
