Calcutta: Palash Das scored a hattrick helping Kodalia Prasannabanga High School thrash Batra High School 7-0 in the Howrah zonal round of the Britannia-Anandabazar Cup football tournament on Sunday. Sajad Ali Mondal, Hemanta Das, Anurdho Naskar scored one each while a same-side goal rounded off Kodalia’s demolition of the opponents.

In a Purulia zone, Masanger Adibasi HS cruised to a 4-1 win over Anjuman High School. Tarun Murmu struck three and Kanto Baske scored another for the winners, while Niranjan Mahato was the lone scorer for Anjuman HS.
