Bengal, represented by Durbar Sports Team, was on Tuesday felicitated for winning the Rajiv Gandhi National Slum soccer meet in Nagpur recently. Eight players represented the team in the four-a-side tournament. The team also announced a tie-up with third division side Young Men’s Sporting Association, which would enable the players to play in the CFL.
Among those present were Chuni Goswami and Compton Dutta along with Jose Ramirez Barreto, Alvito D’Cunha and Ryuji Sueoka.
