Goalkeeper Hemanta Dora today signed in favour of East Bengal who also retained the services of veteran midfielder Tushar Rakshit.
Hemanta, a former international, was with Tollygunge Agragami last season.
George Telegraph, meanwhile, recruited Raju Ekka.
Bagan for benefit ties
Mohun Bagan will play two exhibition matches against FCI in aid of the ailing Pem Dorji and the family of football fan Kashem Ali who died last week.
The first match will be in Durgapur on July 1 and Raniganj will host the second on July 7.
Dorji, a former international, played for all the glamour clubs in Calcutta. He is undergoing treatment at a city nursing home.
Ali, a Mohammedan Sporting fan, died following injuries sustained when a section of the club gallery collapsed in 1998.
Gallery meeting
The IFA's governing body will meet on June 30 to discuss chances of reconstructing sections of the wooden stands in the three enclosed grounds in the Maidan and replacing them with tubular structures.
Eastern Railway win
Eastern Railway beat West Bengal Police 3-0 in IFA Shield cluster match in Bankura. Achyut Mohan Biswas scored a brace with Shantanu Dey hitting the other. The match in Midnapore between Police AC and Kidderpore was washed out.
