Chennai: India captain Dilip Tirkey has been selected in the world hockey All-Star 2006 squad released by the FIH.
“Journalists present at both the men’s and women’s World Cup tournaments held in Germany and Spain, respectively, and the visitors to the FIH website voted for their favourite stars. After counting hundreds of votes, the fih announced the two teams,” said an FIH release.
