Calcutta: Bengal drubbed Uttarakhand 5-0 to set up a summit clash with Chandigarh in the National U-19 Football Championship for Dr B C Roy Trophy at the Mohun Bagan ground, here on Friday.
Bengal will meet Chandigarh in the final on Sunday.
Striker T. Lalnunpuia, who has been in spectacular form, struck twice in the match.
Captain Prabir Das, Mithun Oraon and Avik Guha scored one each.
Lalnunpuia got his first goal in the eighth minute to give Bengal an early lead, while Prabir struck in the 39th minute.
The Mohun Bagan Academy striker scored his second in the 41st minute as Bengal led 3-0 at the break.
At the change of ends, Mithun scored Bengal’s fourth goal in the 48th minute.
Avik rounded off the tally in the 74th minute via a spot-kick.
The hosts were awarded penalty when Harish Singh Karki of Uttarakhand brought down Surajit Das inside the box.
