Game: PES 2019 by Konami
Genre: Sports, soccer
Platforms: PS4, Xbox One and Steam
Release Date: August 30, 2018
Rival franchise of EA Sports' FIFA, PES (pro evolution soccer) launched their announcement trailer for the 2019 edition on May 9, 2018. The players who feature most prominently in it are FC Barcelona and Brazil midfielder Philippe Coutinho and former England and Manchester United maestro David Beckham, the cover stars of this year's franchise .
The returning license of FC Barcelona and it's iconic football stadium, Camp Nou, is spotlighted in the trailer. New gameplay features and gorgeous visuals - which look sharper than previous versions of the game - were also showcased in the trailer. Following the reveal, Konami has confirmed some of the leagues coming to PES 2019.
This gives footy fans plenty of good stuff to look forward to, as there will be no UEFA Champions League since UEFA and Konami have parted ways this year.
The game takes player individuality to the next level by introducing a variety of new skill traits that give gamers a chance to create nice moves on the pitch.
The realistic gameplay, stadiums and atmosphere provided by PES more than make up for the lack of league licenses.
The trailer shows off the game's impressive FOX Engine - which returns tweaked and much improved from PES 18.
Thanks to "Enlighten" software, true-to-life visual effects and 4K HDR is supported across all platforms.
This football game offers the most holistic experience and is available across PS4, Xbox One and Steam.
