textiles fair:

A textiles and fashion designers’ fair will be held at NEDFi Haat, Guwahati, from December 18 to 21. It is being organised by NEDFi in association with Priyo Sakhi to showcase the local talents in the region. Altogether 16 new textile and fashion designers of Guwahati will participate in the show with their products like traditional dress materials, kids wear and products based on muga, silk and eri.

ROCK CLIMBING:

Assam Mountaineering Association has organised the second all-Assam Nilu Talukdar memorial rock climbing competition on December 21 at Rohini Kumar Bhuyan memorial rock field in the State Zoo, Guwahati.

Communications exam:

The bachelor of communications and journalism examination, 2003, under Gauhati University will be held in the second part of February 2004.
