Body-building

Imphal: The All-Manipur Gymnasium Welfare Association has selected eight body-builders, including three women, to attend trial for representing India in two international competitions in Bhutan and France this year. The trial competition is being held at Kamraj Memorial Hall in Chennai from Tuesday to select body-builders for representing India in 50th Mr Asia in Bhutan in September and Mr World Body- Building Championship in France in November.

Election

Imphal: Manipur Chess Association will hold its election of office-bearers for the term 2016-19 on July 24 for the post of president, two vice-presidents, one secretary, three joint secretaries, one treasurer and four executive members.
