Guwahati, Aug. 31: NF Railway SC literally toyed with Dynamo Club to inflict a 4-1 drubbing in a one-sided match of the R.G. Baruah Guwahati Super Division Football League at Nehru Stadium here today.

With no win in their four matches of the league, today's match was crucial for Dynamo.

The railmen, on the other hand, were comfortably placed at the top of the table with 10 points (three wins and a draw in five matches) and their confidence showed in their game.

Dynamo launched a few futile attacks in the beginning, but the railmen scored the first goal in 15th minute. Nimble-footed Sibra Narzary, coming from the left flank, sent the ball home off K.C. Lal's calculated pass from the midfield.

Six minutes later, Sibra's right-footer off Sankar Sil's cross from the right flank found the back of the net.

Leading 2-0, the railmen intensified their defence and though Dynamo's Lenin Angom had led few attacks, his attempts were thwarted by the Railway's agile custodian.

NF Railway scored their third goal in the 54th minute when K.C. Lal, from inside the box, received a cross from Chayaram Basumatary and volleyed the ball in with a right-footer.

Lenin Angom scored the lone goal for Dynamo in the 60th minute. Angom, who was few steps outside the box, caught custodian Sukanta Roy off-guard and, on receiving a calculated pass from Satyajit Rabha, put the ball in.

In the added time, the railmen scored their last goal when K.C. Lal carried the ball to the edge of the box and scored a powerful right-footer.

Tomorrow, Sunrise AC will face defending champions Navajyoti Club.
