Expect: Weaver’s Studio to showcase a range of handloom wear, including saris, readymade garments, fabrics, unstitched sets, dupattas, stoles and scarves at affordable prices for their annual pre-Poila Baishak sale. Visitors can pick outfits for their spring/summer wardrobe from the store’s display of traditional textiles, each representing a unique story and history. Be it a chic sari for a special occasion, a versatile scarf or stole to enhance your everyday look, or fabrics to enhance the design of your attire, the exhibition has something for everyone. Sari lovers can select from varieties including block prints, Baluchari, Kantha, Jamdani, cotton and khadi. The readymade garments section features khadi, cotton and tussore-printed garments. Scarves, stoles and dupattas are especially curated for adding a youthful, lighter and fancier element to the outfit to make a contemporary fashion statement.
