Gearing up for Halloween 2022

Vanessa Hudgens as the Swan Queen

Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake is the stuff of legends and taking inspiration from the ballet, Vanessa chose to be the Swan Queen at one of her Halloween parties this year. From having the powdered white face, feathers around her ears and white tutu and leg warmers, she fit the bill perfectly. If you’re looking for something darker, you can always be the Black Swan!

Megan Thee Stallion as Dwight Schrute

If there was an award for smart low-budget Halloween costumes, Meghan Thee Stallion would be winning it. Taking inspiration from the iconic character of Dwight Schrute from The Office, she chose to wear a pumpkin on her head, much like the character did in Here Comes Treble, the fifth episode of the ninth season. We can’t stop laughing!

Alanna Panday as a Zombie Nurse

Some classics never go out of style and a good zombie outfit is exactly that. Ananya Panday’s cousin sports this teal nurse costume, and the makeup and lenses make for a great zombie fit. Don’t miss out on the amazing neck makeup that makes this look oh-so-convincing.

Kylie Jenner as a witch

Hocus Pocus! That’s exactly how we’d describe this makeup moghul’s look. Posted by Hailey Beiber, Kylie is in bright green body makeup wearing a black sheer outfit. Not only is she cosplaying a witch, but a sexy one for sure!

From yesteryears

Sonam Kapoor as Marilyn Monroe

Bollywood’s resident fashionista always knows how to look her best, and this fit is Halloween-approved. With Blonde fever on everyone’s mind, this is a great cosplay to try this spooky season. Be it the blow-dried vintage blonde hair, the iconic mole on top of the lips or the bright red lip — Monroe is an icon. Don’t forget to add fake lashes to the look and paint your nails red too!

Swara Bhasker as Frida Kahlo

Mexican artist Frida Kahlo is perhaps one of the most iconic personalities of this century. From the garland of flowers on her head to her unibrow and colourful printed clothing, it is a great look to go for this Halloween. Swara Bhaskar looks like a splitting image of the artist with milkmaid braids and flowers on her head and chunky jewellery.

Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal as ‘The Great Gatsby’ characters

Newly hitched couple Richa and Ali are always better together, much like in this Great Gatsby-themed look. Having quite the Old Sport vibe, their looks are OTT, shiny, shimmery and full of glitter. Ali’s suit has the classic retro ’20s vibe while Richa opts for the flapper aesthetic. There are no rules when it comes to Halloween dressing, so go all out.

Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas as Morticia and Gomez Addams

This is the classic Halloween look, and this couple pulled it off with style. From the iconic height difference to the hair and makeup, they nailed this look. Sophie looks fierce with the high cheekbones, red lip, smoky eyes and black dress while Joe carries the pin-stripped double-breasted suit and thin moustache like a pro. Not to forget the red rose! And with Wednesday releasing on Netflix soon, it’s just right!
