Since Pantone announced the Illuminating as the colour of the year in 2021, the different shades of the sunshine hue haven’t stopped trending. STYLIST SPEAK
As various shades of yellow are trending this year, we created a lookbook with different shades for different occasions. The yellow tie-and-dye co-ord set is perfect for a minimal, comfortable and stylish beach look. I kept the look minimal with a pair of earrings and a bracelet from Adro’s Creations. The Rahul Riti Shah outfit is a head-turner. I decided to amp up the look by adding a pop colour which would break the monotony. I accessorised the look with multiple finger rings and a chic bracelet from Crisanto Jewellery. The asymmetrical silk dress from Vedika M is free-flowing and definitely chic. It’s effortless and I styled it with a pair of contrasting danglers from Crisanto. The pleated crop bustier with a hand-painted long skirt from Vedika M is perfect for a minimal day-wear look. MAKE-UP NOTES
With the tie-and-dye outfit, we kept the make-up minimal with soft, natural tones on the eyes and muted coral on the lips. The Vedika M flowy outfit is complemented with a dewy make-up look enhanced with graphic yellow liner and natural shades on the lips. The Dev R Nil occasionwear outfit is glammed up with bronze shade on the eyes and hint of gloss on the lips. The Riti Rahul Shah outfit is very modern. To break the monotony of the yellow outfit I have added some dark maroonish tone to the eyes with some metallic touch and liner.
