Five men have been arrested for allegedly running an illegal online lottery racket in a building on Bondel Road in Ballygunge.
When anti-rowdy squad officers raided the place on Friday, the accused were in the middle of playing an online lottery where people invest money, which is banned by the state government, cops said. Two computers and board money worth Rs 21,000 were seized.
The five were produced at a city court on Saturday that remanded them to police custody till August 30.
