What: St. Xavier’s College (Calcutta) Alumni Association (SXCCAA) in association with The Telegraph presents Annual Tea Meet 2022
Where: Fr. Depelchin Auditorium, St. Xavier’s College
When: November 13, 5.30pm onwards
Expect: This annual event of the alumni calendar, hosted by the women’s forum of the alumni association, will be a fun-filled evening in the college for the alumni members and guests. Being the first event of the alumni calendar, the governing council will be introduced to the alumni members and guests. The president of the alumni association and the principal of St. Xavier’s College, Fr. Dominic Savio will also address the alumni members and the women’s forum. The highlight of the evening will be the cultural performances. Music duo Sourendro and Soumyojit will enthral the audience with their performance and actress Rituparna Sengupta will present a special dance performance.

Followed by the stage events, the alumni members and guests will get an opportunity to gather in the college grounds to catch up over tea and snacks. Like every year, they can participate in exciting games like treasure hunt. Additionally, there will also be a live screening of the T20 World Cup match on a big screen.
Organiser speak: “It has been more than two decades that we are organising this event. It is organised by the women’s forum of our association. Every year, we make the event special with performances by various artistes. This time the ‘You and I’ duo Sourendro and Soumyojit will pay their tribute to womanhood with their performance and actress Rituparna Sengupta will present a dance performance. This is our first event after the annual general meeting of our association in September. Apart from introducing the governing council, the event will also be about fellowship of the Xaverians over tea and snacks,” said Firdausul Hasan, honorary secretary, SXCCAA.
