A friend in need is named indeed’ — it all started with a fun contest run by t2. People from across the city shared funny names they have given to their pals and the story behind them. t2 organised a fun Friendship Day game party with some lucky winners and their friends at Refinery 091 recently.

The party was all fun and games, quite literally as interesting games were organised for them and they bagged cool hampers. The winner turned up in pairs, although two of the winners could not make it to the final event and their close ones attended instead.

The games were divided into three segments. In the first round, the duo had to introduce each other with suitable adjectives to best describe the other person. This was followed by a fun blindfolded identification challenge round where one had to identify one’s partner blindfolded. The third round, perhaps the most interesting part of the evening, had participants in each pair answer 12 basic, interesting questions related to each other in a written form to reflect how well they actually knew each other.

Shaila Jassal of The Rubikon Akademie who was one of the game organisers, said, “We made people take part in games that brought out their friendship goals and the strength of their friendship with the person they have come along with. It was fun for me to see the participants so charged up and enjoying the activities.”

“Organising games for the winner contestants today was not challenging at all because we have done this many times before. What has caught our attention today is how well these people know each other. Friendship for us is a language with no barriers. Shaila and I are like family to each other. Doing this with her today was fun,” said Anupama Drolia, another game organiser from the same organisation.

“Team Refinery 091 has always shared a great friendship with t2. We are happy to have strengthened that bond today by hosting this Friendship Day special party with t2 and its readers,” said Jyoti Agarwal, owner, Refinery 091.
