Dalhousie Institute upheld the tradition of celebrating Christmas in the right spirit on December 25. The X-Mas Evening in association with The Telegraph saw the Anglo-Indian community gather to celebrate the evening with friends and family and we witnessed their unique camaraderie. The fact that the celebration was organised after three years, got those living offshores to connect with their community members once more. Blue Mist The Band added jazz to the evening with their soft rock, rock ’n’ roll and classic hits while the guests danced.

CLUB SPEAK

“The annual Christmas get-together at the DI is more than just a dance with a live band thing. It is an occasion when our members, their families and guests get to meet and greet each other on this important festival. A lot of camaraderie revolves around the spirit of sharing, caring, giving and living it up. The choicest snacks from our five kitchens and a wide array of beverages ensure that the celebration continues till the wee hours,” said president of the club, Jayajit Biswas.
