The winter festive season is here and the city is prepping up for it. At ITC Hotels, Kolkata, a cake-mixing ceremony brought in the festive cheer. The cake-mixing ceremony, held at Nutmeg, the gourmet bakery of the hotel, saw a total of 250kg of dry ingredients like prunes, cashew, almonds and walnuts and 175litre of spirits such as whisky, brandy and wine being whisked into an aromatic mixture.“It’s that time of the year again when the magic of winter touches Calcutta. Our year-end celebrations blend history and culture evoking the unique spirit of the city. ITC Hotels Kolkata comes alive during the season, captured in our festive one-of-a-kind garland of offerings,” said Vijay Malhotra, area executive chef East, ITC Hotels.
