Dalhousie Institute transported everyone back in time with the DI Vintage and Classic Car Show in association with The Telegraph. From the parking lot to the club grounds stood a fleet of cars that reminded everyone of the hot wheels that ruled the roads back in the day. From seven stunning vintage Rolls-Royces to a 1913 Stoewer and a 1931 Lancia Dilambda to a 1932 Ford V8, a total of 75 heritage vehicles enlivened the evening with their history, restoration stories and exclusivity.
The show was organised in partnership with Eastern India Motoring Group (EIMG). Established in 2020 by a group of heritage vehicle owners, it is known for organising heritage car events in the city and protecting the national motoring heritage of India.

This 1913 Stoewer, one of the oldest cars on display, stood out for its gleaming body and colour. It is owned by Ananda Chowdhury
A 1948 Plymouth Special Deluxe that was once owned by legendary singer Hemant Kumar and is now owned by Swapan Kr Lahiri.
Preeyam Budhia dropped by to feast her eyes on the hot wheels. She posed with the 1947 MG TC which is owned by Himanshu Ajmera.
Participants of the show were felicitated with glittering vintage car-shaped mementoes sponsored by Concourz Restorations.
Shrivardhan Kanoria, EIMG founding president and an eminent vintage car collector/restorer, poses with two of his three Rolls-Royces displayed at the venue. On the right is a 1925 Rolls-Royce Phantom I and on the left is a 1926 Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost.
A 1927 Austin 7 (Chummy) in a beautiful shade of blue was part of the display. It is owned by Syed Afzaluddin Hossain.
This Contessa Classic greeted everyone at the main entrance. Owner Shubhajit Kumar, a veteran highspeed rallyist and secretary of EIMG, posed with his favourite car.
