This was for the first time two national-award winners -- Rituparna Sengupta and Ananya Chatterjee-- shared the stage which was a treat to the eyes

Prayas Foundation, the brainchild of Avirup Sengupta, Sayantan Das and Papri Jain, organised a special cultural programme on May 19 at GD Birla Sabhagar in aid of the special children of Prayas. Krishna Madhuri Ek Katha Prem Ki depicted the love and devotion of Radha and Meera respectively had towards Krishna. Radha was played by Rituparna Sengupta and Meera played by Ananya Chatterjee. Shri Krishna played by Avirup. This was for the first time two national-award winners -- Rituparna Sengupta and Ananya Chatterjee-- shared the stage which was a treat to the eyes. Avirup choreographed the whole programme. The music direction was by singer Riddhi Bandhopadhay. Singer Srabani Sen and actress Manasi Sinha put up a joint performance of songs and narration from Rabindranath Tagore’s works.
