Calcutta Club Limited in association with t2 hosted a gala party on the night of November 2 at the club’s AC pavilion. Called Masquerade Ball with DJ Sachin, the evening saw the club’s members and their guests, mostly dressed in formal attires, enjoying a fun night. With bright, attractive masquerade masks in fluorescent shades and feather embellishments covering their eyes, they grooved to the music, their steps blending salsa, ballroom and Bollywood dance moves. The masks added an aura of magic and mystery to the mood. Snapshots.

DJ Sachin Marwaha opened the night with Bollywood tracks like Ghungroo, Chaleya, What jhumka and Senorita. He later made the audience move to a mix of English retro tunes by the likes of Bryan Adams, Kenny Loggins and Boney M. “It was a great experience to play for the wonderful and energetic crowd of the Calcutta Club for the Masquerade Ball. Guests had a fantastic time dancing on the floor wearing their masks,” he said.

Member Bikram Vaskar Gangopadhyay stood out on the dance floor, doing salsa in his red kurta and white dhoti.
