One of the most sacred holidays for Christians is Easter that celebrates Jesus Christ’s resurrection. Easter is traditionally observed on the first Sunday following the first full moon after the Spring Equinox (March 21), which can happen between March 22 and April 25.

This year’s Easter celebration will take place on Sunday, April 9. It is a time for joy, celebration, and renewal, and it is one of the most important holidays in the Christian calendar. Given that Calcutta is a city with a sizable Christian population, the festival is celebrated with aplomb.
