What to expect: 10Tackles is a military-style obstacle race that pioneered the concept of extreme sports in Kolkata in 2019. The core event is about overcoming 10 units of obstacles, typically comprising gritty physical challenges that mimic military training to discern the participant’s fitness level. Designed and organised by 212 Degrees, the event has grown in the last three seasons to become eastern India’s most anticipated obstacle challenge... not just because of its age, gender and fitness agnostic appeal, but also as a family entertainer. With a complete spectacle of DJ, food and “Happy Zone” fun activities with a daring fitness competition set in a rustic warehouse ambiance away from the city, 10Tackles is the place to be for everyone to ring in the winter vibes. Spread across 120,000sqft warehouse area to add to the rustic appeal, the event can serve as a perfect family weekend activity.

Organiser speak: “The idea behind 10Tackles is to test the participants’ mental and physical limit through 10 unique military-style drills. They will need to run, climb, crawl and push their bodies through different levels of endurance and bodyweight challenges in a controlled format. As the first season after tiding over the pandemic fear completely, we are set to take it to the next level in Season 4 for the participants and visitors with some new challenges and fun elements,” said Manju Bangur, the brain behind the initiative.
