London, Nov. 16 (Reuters): London love disaster Bridget Jones may be unlucky with men but is proving much more successful on the big screen with the sequel The Edge of Reason shooting to the top of the UK film charts.
The film about a woman on the hunt for the perfect man has once again proved successful with British cinema audiences, taking over ?10 million in its first week, Screen International said on Tuesday.
The romantic comedy knocked The Grudge, a film about a cursed house, into second while gangster-themed cartoon Shark Tale dropped to third.
Bollywood?s Veer-Zaara entered the charts in fourth place with the story of an Indian pilot who falls in love with a Pakistani woman. Bad Santa dropped to fifth.
