A new AIDS test centre was inaugurated on the premises of Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Medical College Hospital on Tuesday. The testing centre was inaugurated by D.N. Mukherjee, superintendent of the hospital. According to hospital sources, the AIDS testing centre was equipped with the necessary kits required for the tests. Sources said a nominal amount would be charged from patients. Jharkhand Pradesh Mahila Congress Committee will organise a “Congress Mahila Mahapanchayat” on June 26.
