Jamshedpur, April 11: If the on-field exploits at Keenan tomorrow does not set the ground ablaze, the list of who?s who will.

From Governor Syed Sibtey Razi, chief minister Arjun Munda and his cabinet colleagues, to over a dozen bureaucrats with their families in tow, all roads for them lead to Keenan tomorrow, where the steel city will rub shoulders with the political glitteratti of the state.

And with their political bosses stepping into the arena, the district collectorate remained chock-a-block with action today, a declared government holiday, to ensure a cushy and comfortable stay for the top brass.

The fact that the VIPs will be streaming in with their families and friends has made life more difficult for the officials. Governor Razi, for instance will be fielding a team of 22, including his home minister Lady Chand Farhana and sons, while water resource and food supplies minister Kamlesh Singh will be accompanied by 60 people. Not to be left behind are top bureaucrats, including tourism secretary S.K. Choudhary, Palamau commissioner K.K. Khandelwal and mines and geology department secretary Arun Kumar Singh among others, who shall all queue up at Keenan with their families.

?We are working overtime and trying our best to ensure that the VVIPs and VIPs get suitable accommodation in the city. The Circuit House (with more then 15 rooms), the Nirmal Guest House (with over 15 rooms) and other government accommodation are already filled to their capacity. We are in a fix over accommodating other VIPs, who have lined up visits for the match,? Ranjana Mishra, in charge of the VIP affairs at the East Singhbhum district administration, told The Telegraph.

As of now, the guests are expected to be accommodated at the circuit house, the Nirmal Guest House, the Tinplate Guest House, the Telco Guest House, the Tube Makers? Club and some of the city hotels. But the district administration is also looking for a formidable bench strength seeking to reserve rooms at the MDP Guest House in XLRI.

The chief minister, however, might have room for complaints after he has been allotted two rooms of the new Circuit House instead of his horses, the comfortable and cosy Room 1 and 2 of the old one.

The cooks and khansamas of the Circuit House are also having a field day cooking up the perfect fare for the honourable guests.

The menu will, sources revealed, comprise mutton curry, vegetarian manchurian, matar paneer and other delicacies. But fish will be a strict no-no as the governor had a tough time during his last visit negotiating a fish bone that got stuck in his throat, sources recalled.
