If you want to be reminded of how amazing Jharkhand is, just look around in Ranchi.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, chief minister Raghubar Das and Jharkhand's best-known icon Mahendra Singh Dhoni are peering from giant hoardings, standees or large self-standing displays and lollipops or aerial banners, to tell delegates for the Global Investors' Summit, February 16-17, the advantages of investing in the state.

State information and public relations department in association with one of India's leading PR agency Adfactors PR, communication partner of Momentum Jharkhand 2017, has installed hoardings, lollipops and standees on all important roads that can be seen by visitors from the airport, railway station and hotels to the summit venue, mega sports complex, Hotwar.

Most hoardings have Dhoni, the brand ambassador of Momentum Jharkhand 2017. But, Prime Minister Modi and chief minister Das are also visible. So are maps and snapshots of Jharkhand.

"We have coined many slogans with Dhoni as the brand ambassador along with the chief minister. But, some slogans on investment sectors to be focused during the two-day meet have pictures of the Prime Minister and chief minister. We want to make prospective investors aware of the immense opportunities in the state as they zip through roads," said Mrinal Sapre, an official of Adfactors PR.

Some slogans with Dhoni and the chief minister capitalise on the cricketer's charisma, such as "It's about the confidence to meet every single challenge, every single time!" "Now no business goal is too far", "Just 2 runs to win from 50 balls, it's that easy!" "Together lets help Jharkhand fly" and "When you have confidence, difficulties become opportunities".

Slogans featuring state advantages with a picture of Das include "Endless Opportunities, unlimited potential", "One of the top Indian states in Ease of Doing Business" and "Attractive destination for Digital Entrepreneurs".

Some, like "Mineral state of India", "Tussar silk industry - backbone of textile industry of Jharkhand", "Tourism: Unique in diversity", have both Modi and Das.

While mines and minerals are a focus investment sector at the summit, others include textiles, apparels and footwear, tourism, autos and auto components, urban development and Smart City, energy and renewable energy, IT/ ITeS and ESDM, agriculture and food processing, higher and technical education, skill development and healthcare.

State director of information and public relations department R.L. Bakshi said over 700 hoardings were already put up apart from a "few hundred" standees and lollipops in high-visibility areas. Kiosks were put up at government establishments. "The idea is to celebrate Jharkhand at the summit," he said.

Ranchi Municipal Corporation (RMC) is working overtime for the city's clean impression. "Commercial hubs and roadside drains are cleaned thrice a day. Landscaping is nearly over," said Bidya Nand Sharma Pankaj, RMC additional municipal commissioner.
