Ranchi, Sept. 27: Information Technology (IT) has made a space for itself in chief minister Arjun Munda?s head.

Munda called for a strong online coordination between the district treasuries and the state finance department. He said the department must have an online update of financial transactions progressing at the district level. Munda reviewed the functioning of state finance and the urban development departments here today.

Apparently buoyed with the investment proposals pouring into Jharkhand, the CM asked the officials of urban development department to ensure development of Ranchi into a modern city, which would meet international requirements. Munda said international companies would begin setting up their offices in Ranchi shortly.
