Ranchi, Dec. 12: The Moolvasi Sadan Adhikar Janadhikar Manch call to make their rally today a success had few takers.

Despite efforts of the Manch, hardly 500 people participated in the rally making the programme a damp squib.

The rally had everything except the crowds. A large stage was set up for the Manch leaders along with loudspeakers and chairs for VIPs.

The poor turnout frustrated the Manch leaders and they missed no opportunity to express their frustration in public.

Sadan Chhatra Sangh vice-president Vijay said: ?We do not believe in crowds. We want lions. Those who are present at the function are lions having capacity to do something for moolvasis and sadans.?

Jharkhand Moolvasi Sadan Adhikar Manch president R.P. Sahu, unhappy with the turnout, said: ?It is too late. As most of the people have started leaving the venue, I would not like to continue my speech.?Working president of Jharkhand Party Lal Ranvijay Nath Shahdeo, who was present in the capacity of Sadan, expressed his frustration while proposing vote of thanks. Instead of mentioning Manch leaders, he thanked vendors for participating in the programme.

He said, ?The low turnout at the programme shows that Sadans are not interested in their development. They want to live the same way they were functioning for the past several years.? The demand raised through the rally of the Manch included dominance of moolvasis in state politics, dereservation of Mukhiyas post and inclusion of their demands in the manifesto of the all political parties.
