Ranchi, March 4: Do you wish to confess your mistakes? Well there is no need to rush to the church anymore.

A duo from Ranchi has developed a portal, which will allow you to log in, make a clean breast and then log out. The portal is named ourMistakes.com.

Launched this afternoon, the website already has 250 confessions, albeit of friends, acquaintances and students of local institutions. Without waiting for response from visitors and net surfers, the duo decided to ask friends to help out in this unique effort and also roped in local educational institutions.

Somkiran and Animesh Bansariyar, are the 25-year-old ?brains? behind the portal. While Somkiran is a graduate in mathematics, Animesh has a metallurgical engineering degree from National Institute of Technology (NIT) Durgapur. The duo has already developed an anti-spam software named N-spam. ourMistakes.com has been developed with the purpose of providing a platform to people to provide them an opportunity to express whatever mistake they have done till date. Whether a user would like to mention his name or he or she would like to remain anonymous has been left at his or her discretion. Expert guidance and suggestions on the mistake committed will follow later on. The portal is a brainchild of Somkiran. ?I thought this would be an interesting idea, and the first of its kind in the world. We have made the portal as user-friendly as possible. A kid can log in and narrate the mistakes that he made, specify how he corrected them and then log out,? said Somkiran.

Animesh, who has toiled for the project for the past three months, said any suggestions on the website from the users would be welcome.

?I am a strong believer in the adage that mistakes are the stepping stones of success ? provided there is a willingness to accept one?s mistake rectifying them. This is the only fact that compelled me to develop this portal,? says Animesh.

?Mistakes? can be from categories like literature, science, technology, mathematics and social life among others. Somkiran plans to rope in experts from these fields (some of whom are based abroad) to provide suggestions to the ones who have committed mistakes.
