Romancing with Life by Dev Anand is also doing brisk business. “It’s a runaway hit. We had 30 copies of the book, which were picked by book lovers within a month,” said Burman.
“The book written by Priya and Namrata Dutt has also received rave reviews. As they deal with more intimate and personal lives of eminent personalities they are selling like hot cakes. We sold 12 copies of this book till now,” said owner of Book Zone, Vinod Poddar.

The latest biography to have hit the racks is My Country My Life written by BJP Prime Ministerial nominee L.K. Advani.
“We have sold seven copies of this book already. But this book is mostly being purchased by people related to the education field,” said Pradeep Burman.
A retired teacher of Goverment Girls’ High School, Nitayanand Singh, had purchased Advani’s book and he said: “BJP leader gives first person account of the tragedy during partition and his life as a politician. He talks about his journey when he just joined politics to becoming the Deputy Prime Minister.”
Amrita Kumari, a final-year student of St Xavier’s College, said Dev Anand’s book is worth reading. “Through this book I got to know a lot about the star’s love life and his leading ladies.”
