Hisar, June 3 (PTI): Former Haryana chief minister Bhajan Lal died in a local hospital this evening following a massive heart attack.

Family sources said the 81-year-old Jat leader suffered a heart attack in the afternoon and was rushed to a hospital. Even as the family was preparing to shift him to the hospital in Gurgaon, he suffered another attack.

Lal, a Lok Sabha member from Hisar, is survived by his wife Jasma Devi, two sons and a daughter.
