ALL ABOUT MY MOM: After the short film Ekla Cholo for Zee Bangla Cinema, director duo Sudeshna Roy-Abhijit Guha are making a series of short films on a single mom for Ashok Dhanuka’s Eskay Movies. The tentatively-titled Amar Maa stars Sreelekha Mitra as a single mother, with Saayoni Ghosh playing her daughter. “The daughter’s only concern is who’s going to look after her mom when she goes abroad for higher studies. So she starts looking for a suitable groom for her mother,” said Sudeshna. Amar Maa will be aired on Sony AATH.
